Hadrian and I and the hand of god

Just like a men's magazine today, mostly pictures....

Hadrian and myselfs.

We where both born In late May. We are both exactly 6 feet and one half of an inch tall, we have numerous languages and are good at sailing and archery and poetry and cooking. Hadrian would have been an ok bike rider too if the bici had of been invented then.

We both love horses, dogs, marble and water and elephants and understand the importance of geese and some people.

An eye for the weather and the ladies is another bond.

He was a stylish dresser too.

This me at his temple built by his son.

As for the things we don't Have in common, he did not get to go to the Sistine chapel. He was a bit early.

He didnt see The mop outside Mr. Keats house at the foot of the Spanish steps. I so wanted to ....

The 551 steps of the gradini di spagna he no walk either.

This the stone boat near the mop.

We the retrace our steppios and do

The trevi redux

I throw in more coins. The local council have a big pool vacuum like the one the bega pool and they breathes up all the coins and give them to the charitasios in the poor parts of italy. I write them a note and say the pambula pool needs some more money too.

Engiugh the philanthropologisticos time for the a quick turn insidio the pantheon

The hole the roof is big.

And this the only thing inside.

Then more walking just as well my Jesus boots are in good conditsione.

These the hurling heavy marbles balls the soldiers of roma flings at the Visigoths in 536. They all missed because them visigoths did the sacking and the pillaging good.

Change of pace and go the St peter place up the street.

I got touched up in the cupola by the saints.

Dear Mel at the Wyndham store, happy birthday. Could you keep an eye for a large parcel addressed to me. I bought some stuff on eBay in italia, having it sent to new buildings it weighs 13.7 kilos so don't try and lift it on your own. If it smells funny it is just my salami.

I love the Sistine and all it's madness.

I got talking to the serviglisna ( he has a friend who sews clothes)and was granted emission to call for silencio in the chapel.

I take deep breath and go
Silencio and no foto!
Every one very quiet, me and the servigilanti just exchange a look.

On the way out the have modern arts

this why
If you ever go the Sistine they is duo things you have to do there.
1. Go the informations ticket box the morning. Buy the biglitiers for the 3 o'clock the arvo. Walk straight round the ingresso and say no parlo di italianio. They let you in anyway.
2. Do 2 laps the museo and Go in the Sistine chapel twice.
Is a place unforgets and last judgements with blue blue skies above in the heavens.
Is fabulouso.
one other details cannot go unmentioned. In the bottom of the Sistine chapels vaticanio museo palazzo di popio is the toilets. I go there to rinse myself. I notice the sorbentsia there is watermarked with the hand of god image from the chapel ceiling ( no not an innuendo ) .
Whoever thought of that was an ideas man for sure.

Late June and still no frost for Marky di italia.

Ciao grazie Mille

L'amore e la pace

  1. Thank you! I missed the Pantheon on my one and only trip to Rome (maybe we were sidetracked in the Dior store) so now I've seen the inside and outside thanks to you.
