All roads lead to.....

This the bridge almost too far.

Is name the ponte sisto. Romulus and Remus was borne just down stream from here and then went to live with the woolfes.

It has been a day of traveling, we visited a magnificent hilltop medieaviale town called citavecchio. It was on a hill and everyone wore period costume and sang rather than spoke. Siena tried some twirling during the march past but was not appreciated. That seemed to set the scene.

We made the Roma without much ado and found mauritzio in the vineria next to to our appartimenti. He had been there a while by the looks of hs things. I thought he had a limp and a heavy accent, Siena was convinced he was a staggering and slurring . After we give him the cash and the passaportio and go back the vineria. He gives us disconti becuse we stay here a weeks. The clean away lady will changes the sheets on Tuesday.

Our roomio has a maritime feel maybe because i close the river tiberioso but the seeling is made from oak trees and the kitchen is same a galley and is designed for some one 3 feet 4 inchio shorts but with arms that can go 7 feet long into the back of the drawers to find the bottke openers and the parmesan grater and the on off switch for the aqua caldi.

I made pappardelle under these.

As fir the bagno

surprise suprisio , the showier was designed to meet a papal decree specifico to the area of Roma we staying in. Is called Della scala di Trastevere.

Apparently in 1412 the pope of the day came here and saw men and ladies in the bath house togethers. They were washing each other " vigurioso e passionato" so the ancient text goes.

So, Mr holy father of the churches ( known as pope sticksthemud by the street people's) decrees that all bagnos in Trastevere must not permit anyway you or anyone else see you own parts.

Our bagno complies to the decree with religioso attendioni to the details.

one just stands bolt upright in tiled shaft and lets the warming holy waters cleanse you with no rubbing possible whom or whatsoever.

As for the memory foam mattress ( no relation to the seamstress just in case you get ideas or try an innuendo) it removers everything from you memory and forgets nothing.

I love it here e Roma.

I go the colloseo nowio...
