Everything you wanted to know about Brugge ....

They invented banking, tall brick buildings, white swans and manners and An atmosphere of repressed everything. Even the beach is closing in on itself. oh, they think they inventinshoozastraat the oil paint also. Obviously Rolf Harris needs to lift his profile in the low country.

This is the happiest photo I could find in the museums die Flanders low country of Brugge almost by the Zee.

They are very different to me.

No they are not . They worry about axe murderes and ladies holding lanterns ...

No wonder they lock doorkenstraatsens at the night times.

They love moules. And they get up very very early start to get them. Two mortgens in a row I have been stumpenbaden by the huissefrau mit zee giant vicker basketen at the carrefors marketen.

This her. And her shopping Liszt.

Btw, if you not nice girl in Brugge this what happens. So never lend your sheets to your girlfriends uncles.

the musuemstraaatgaadenhuisse has all die prints from the Flemish masters.

They must have been happiest in their vork.

See vot I mean about the repressions.

The best photographer in Bruges...

Zis the Bruges.

The man whomdaat painting zis is very clever. By putting on the linen t towel to her head he make her horns look like interesting hair do instead weird horns.

As I can and not as I would he also say about himself.

Good old Hieronymous Bosch tried to break the bonds of Flemish repression and just got weird. I do like a painting with a sabot though...

I was invited to present a paper to the Brugge Council of Burgers.

This the council counting house

I was very busy

This girl sits in the town hall burgermeister chambers. Her job is to remind him to make the right decision. She does look like she can tell the difference between the weak and the strong.

I like the way her hands are Monna esque.

The hawker sits in the other corner. Apparently and according to the allegory I just discovered, he represents order in an ever changing world.

Everyone loves a parade. It is tomorrow. They get ready now.
